About
I currently work as the Associate Director for International Programs at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Previously I was the Senior Adviser for International Initiatives in The College and an Assistant Director in the Office of International Affairs, both at The University of Chicago. I have also consulted on several international education related projects for a variety of institutions and organizations. I serve on the editorial advisory board of the Journal of Studies in International Education (JSIE), edit and maintain International Higher Education Consulting Blog and have co-authored several book chapters, journal articles and reports on international education topics. My research focuses on the use of international education for soft power and public diplomacy efforts; methodology of data collection on global student and scholar mobility and on the history of international education exchanges. I have served on multiple committees and task forces of The Forum on Education Abroad and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. I'm currently at the dissertation stage in Comparative and International Education at Loyola University Chicago.
